I work mainly with loose, expressive watercolours, inspired by nature and everyday moments. Flowers, birds, woodlands and gentle, whimsical scenes often find their way into my work, and I love letting watercolour do what it does best, flowing, blending and surprising me along the way.
You’ll find me wandering the outdoors, taking reference photos of all things nature and magical, then transferring my findings to the pages of my sketchbooks in my home studio.
I also released my first in-depth online course in 2025, ‘English Garden Flowers for Beginners’. I’m a big believer that you don’t need lots of expensive materials, just a brush, some paint, and a bit of time.
I also hand-make watercolour sketchbooks using beautiful, heavyweight paper that I genuinely love painting on. Each one is stitched by hand and designed to be used, experimented in and enjoyed, not kept precious on a shelf.
Whether you’re here to learn, to browse my artwork, or simply to feel inspired to pick up a brush, I’m really glad you’re here. I hope my work encourages you to slow down, notice the beauty around you, and have a little fun with paint.
